Meet the Team

The founders – Ian, Isabella, and Pauliina – are no strangers to the cafe scene. Starting in humble beginnings as baristas, this family team have built their own vision of a what a Finnish cafe should be from handwritten notes and many late night conversations.

Their first cafe, a collaborative project in the city of Turku, Finland, took the heart of the local summer populace as its foundation, and built a floral river-side gathering place with hand-made pastries and cakes, alongside locally roasted specialty coffee and summer berry smoothies.

Proving that locally made food and drink is an essential component of the relaxed Finnish summer, the team have moved back south, to bring their concept closer to home with a series of locations that will include more unique recipes and ideas in idylic locations with a distinct Finnish heritage.
